The green coffee beans are transformed into roasted coffee beans and about a thousand substances are created, that guarantee the taste and the final aroma: the roasting is the crucial phase of our coffee processing.
Mitaca has chosen a state-of-the-art plant, which offers high quality, energy savings and reduced emissions. A fluid bed roasting system where, in contrast to the drum machines, the heat input during the roasting phase is mainly given by the air-bean exchange instead of the metal-bean.
The green coffee turned into roasted beans is then ready to be ground, dosed and pressed inside the capsule. And we are ready to taste the outocome in the cup of this fascinating process.
TECHNOLOGY AND PATENTS
Constant research and innovation are the origin of our products.
The capsule, produced with a patented technology, is pre-cut in the bottom’s middle area; this incision opens when the right internal pressure is reached, ensuring complete infusion of all the coffee contained.
Our equipment is the result of a long machine designing experience and of an unceasing work of technological tests that allowed us to patent an innovative system that simplifies the insertion and ejection of the capsule after the coffee or hot drink has been dispensed.
